◊ INVITATION FOR A HAIKU CONTEST

Dear haiku friends,

We have the pleasure to inform you that the Spring Festival OHANAMI, dedicated to the beauty of the blossoming Japanese cherry trees, is expected to be held on the 14th of April 2019 in the South Park in Sofia, Bulgaria. The festival is organized with the kind assistance of Club „Friends of Japan” and will be held under the patronage of the Japanese Embassy. In connection with this beautiful event the Bulgarian Haiku Union kindly invites you to take part with your haiku in The Fourth International Haiku Contest „Cherry Blossom”.

• Тheme: Cherry blossom

• Please, send your submissions – up to 3 unpublished haiku in the body of the e-mail together with your name, postal address and email enclosed in an attached file, format „doc” to: haiku_union@abv.bg
Submissions in other format will not be taken under consideration.

• Official language of the International section: English

• Deadline: 2nd of April 2019

• Judges of the International section: Alexandra Ivoylova, Zornitza Harizanova, Vessislava Savova and Antoaneta Nikolova

• Coordinator: Venelina Petkova

The awarded works will be officially published in May 2019 on the pages for contest results in LiterNet, Cultural News: http://kulturni-novini.info/
